How many timepieces do you have in your house?

My wristwatch thread made me think of this question.

By timepieces I mean everything - including clocks on your computer, your microwave, cell phone etc, even if they aren't actually working.

I believe we have 9. I suspect that is less than the average house.

I have never actually set the microwave clock to the correct time, and I know that the clock on my mantlepiece is 3 minutes slow and I have been too lazy to correct it.

I own 15 watches.

In the house at any given time:
2 cell phones
1 toaster oven clock
1 alarm clock in my sons room

I think that's it.

Hmmmmm...time to count.

4 in the master BR - alarm clock, computer, watch and cell phone
3 in one BR - alarm clock, DVR and cell phone
3 in one BR - alarm clock, DVR and watch
1 in the LR - DVR
3 in the kitchen - coffee maker, oven and microwave

The total is 14 for five people. Not too excessive.

What about the clock on your computer?

Oops I forgot about how DVD players, that is another 3 added to my list which makes 12 in total.

No, I just checked - my el cheapo DVD players (not recorders) do not have clocks. I am back to nine,

5 - wristwatch, alarmclock, computer, VCR, cell phone. I'm planning to get one for my kitchen, but so far I have been too lazy to buy one.

In our room: Comp, 5 digital, 3 wall clocks, one bell type alarm, and a cellphone. (I'm hard to wake up in the morning). One in every other room in the house, so another 5 or six-- not counting wrist or pocket watches.

I'm a bit obsessed with about being late for an appointment and, as I mentioned before, it takes a lot to wake me in the AM.

2 clocks in living room - mantle clock and wall clock
timer on microwave in kitchen
laptop
pc
2 dvd players
2 cell phones
2 working wristwatches
dive watch
bedroom alarm clock
there are probably three or four broken/stopped watches around, too.

1 on the microwave
1 on the stove
1 on the coffee maker
1 on the PVR
1 in hubby's office
1 the computer in hubby's office
1 small clock next to my computer
1 on my computer
1 in hubby's alarm clock
1 on vcr in the bedroom
1 on radio in the bathroom
1 on the wall in the bathroom
1 on hubby's cell phone
1 on my cell phone
2 my wristwatches
1 his wristwatch

17. That seems like a lot.

3 PCs
1 laptop
3 VCR/DVD players
1 cable box
2 cell phones
5 caller ID boxes/phones
2 wall clocks
5 alarm clocks
1 microwave
1 oven
6 watches

30 that I can count off the top of my head. I'm sure I missed a couple though.

Desktop PC (broken until further notice) which has an additional timer at the front of the case
Microwave oven
Electric oven
Gas heating control knob
Electric meter
Clocks in living room, my room, guest bedrooms x2, bathroom, DVD player
One laptop (travelling)
One mobile telephone
My USB pen drive
2 watches
3 cordless telephone handsets
MP3 player

um, that's it.

Although we have a few things in the house that might possibly be set to show the time, most of them have not been set to display.

EDIT: I see you've included cell phones etc...

It would take most of the night to check everything... at least 30 I would say.

Televisions also have clocks in them, folks.

In the house at the moment...

7 televisions
4 cell phones
6 alarm clocks
3 DVRs
3 VCR/DVD players
2 microwaves
4 caller IDs
8 wristwatches/pocketwatches
5 or 6 mantel/wall clocks
1 oven
5 pcs

and probably 5 - 10 other clocks that I've forgotten.

So, somewhere north of 40

23 as far as I can guess.

Well, let's see. Off the top of my head:

5 computers
4 cell phones
1 Xbox 360
1 Wii
1 Nintendo DS
3 Alarm Clocks
1 Microwave
1 Stove
3 Televisions w/ satellite box
3 in the house wear watches
1 broken clock on the kitchen wall
1 turned off clock on the living room wall
1 clock on top of one of the the TVs
1 Ipod
and an uncountable number of old broken watches in the junk drawer
So, yeah, there's a lot in my house.
