How many scenes will Pine wear the gold uniform in the next movie?

The thread about the unifroms, reminded me of question I was going to ask awhile back but I think I got distracted by talking about the tranny cheerleader and forgot. Pine only wears the gold uniform in one scene in the new movie, despite the fact that everyone else wears the uniforms for a good portion of the movie.

This made me wonder if Pine is going to be Tom Weiling and not want to wear a starfleet uniform because he thinks it will look less cool or something. I hope he wears it more in the next movie, or they change the uniforms to something more realistic looking so he will be able to wear a true starfleet outfit. having him go around in a black undershirt again would seem silly to me.

I don't think Pine had an issue with the gold uniform. JJ decided from an artistic perspective that he wanted to wait until then end of the film for Pine to wear the uniform. I'm sure in the next movie he will be wearing the standard uniform for most of it.

I believe that you are correct and that we will see Pine in the classic gold for most of the next films. Eventually a few films down the road when the new cast has matured some and mostly in their 30's bring back a sophisticated new version of that green command shirt Kirk wore in the later episodes of TOS, exactly like what was stated on this thread earlier!

I hope we see him in the Green as well...It just feels more Captainy. I liked when Kirk wore that green number or Picard wore his jacket.

I can see him being in the gold uniform, but then for some inexplicable reason, it'll be torn/ripped and he'll spend 1/2 the movie without his top.....

That's pretty much my take on it. Mind you, gold is a difficult colour to wear - it suited Shatner IMO but not that many others (I reckon that's why they changed command to red for TNG), I don't think it's Pine's best colour though he's goodlooking enough to get away with it.

The green wrap gets my vote.
