Well, I read this thread out of curiosity. At first, there was a hint of rationality running through it but as it progressed.....

I am now going to curl into a ball in the corner and suck my thumb. It seems like the only reasonable action to take after some of the stuff I just read.

You don't seriously think any of us who have contact with this stuff regularly are sane do you? Someone was asking earlier about qualifications for writing for the magazine, and I guess it's probably the same for the books - you need to be totally nuts!!

Well, I've read a lot of Marco's posts and he seems rational-but he is an editor, and as every writer knows you have to be bug-sh*t loony to take that job in the first place, so I guess he doesn't count.

i was an editor and poofreader for 4.5 years buut i got bitter and went back to my old jobb.
