My sister's the same. Finally she's found herself a relationship with someone similar, and they both spend time apart. It means she really looks forward to the time together, but also has her own space.

Interesting story. Good to know I'm not alone to be so territorially-minded.

I live by myself, but have three critters for company. Two gerbils (Michael and Erik) and a guinea pig (Tulip). They also keep me quite busy around supper time.

Went with roomate since I'm living with my brother. Seeing as he's part of my immidiate family. I'll probably have him around for at least three years more. Unless miracle of miracles I get a girlfriend and she moves and we have so much sex that my brother can't stand it and moves out. Don't get me wrong, love my brother, but I wants my nookie.

I live with three roommates, two male and one female. The girl is a raver, with an extensive knowledge of recreational drugs, and an impressive collection of raver costumes made of various faux furs and glittering, snakeskin spandex. She hula hoops fire and came home from Burning Man this year with an impressive assless chaps tan. One of the boys is about 12 feet tall with a fro that makes him seem taller. He's a gay Trekkie and a great buddy. We are a rare pair as each of us have a single transpalmer crease on only one hand. The other male is strange and reclusive. He hides in his room and writes, and he wears all black. Sometimes he has his friends over and they watch underground foriegn films from the seventies and they all look like him.

This makes me very happy for no particular reason. :)

Until recently I lived with my other half and four other people in a beautiful 200 year old house by a park. Then one of them moved to London, one went travelling around Asia, and the other two moved in with boyfriends and older brothers respectively. So now it's just me and my boyfriend in a 19th century terrace on a main road. Both situations have advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages: Bathroom is cleaner, and I can have my Buffy merchandise wherever the hell I like. Plus nobody steals my salad from the fridge.
Disadvantages: I miss my daytime TV buddies on my days off, and my new house doesn't have a balcony.

If it was a Sitcom, I'd watch it. :bolian:
