HOW MANY OF YOU SKYPE? =0)

I use it when I travel abroad. It saves me a lot of money because roaming charges are high. I have spent less than 10 euros this year calling back home every day for around 3 weeks and also calling a friend on his mobile in another country quite a few times. I also use it to talk with my partners at the University we are not all at the same place. It is very convenient.

I use it, but mostly for the instant chat (daily). I rarely use my webcam. Maybe three or four times a year.

I do enjoy being able to Skype with my family from just about anywhere via the iPhone app, but as I said before, I'd *really* love it if Skype made the video conferencing option part of their free service as iChat does. Being that my family are all on PCs and so none of them use iChat, it makes it difficult to have the kind of video conference calls they keep pestering me to set up for them (from 3,000 miles away, no less.)

Oh well.

I did have Skype until my computer crashed. I haven't reinstalled it yet. But Facebook has video chat that works great.

Have it, but don't use it too often. Most of it's use comes when I have a friend/family out of the country.

I enjoy chatting with BBSers but I think video chat is a bit much for me. I'm even shy about just letting people hear my voice online. Skype has been great for staying in touch with people in IL though.

If anyone here would like to share their contact info with me so we can talk, just let me know. If not then that's cool too. I'm just trying to build and expand my list of contacts.

I was convinced to download it so a few friends and I could talk while we were gaming. Apart from that I don't bother with it.

You're more than welcome to. It'd be cool to talk to some of you for the first time after all these years of just being names on a screen.:techman:

Been using Skype more or less since it was launched. I installed a mic in my Toughbook the other day so i could use skype on it too. I'm also planning a webcam mod. That's gonna be a bit harder... sigh.
