How many of you have seen every Trek episode?

From what I've seen of TOS so far, it's just too corny to take seriously, despite having pioneered many of the classic Trek ideas. I might watch it at some point for a laugh, but it will be hard to go back to TOS after having seen so much of what developed from it afterwards.
As for DS9, character driven stories don't interest me as a strong motivation to watch a scifi show. I have plenty of other shows for that. I watch scifi/Trek for the exploration and the classic scifi tropes, so the thought of a character driven show on a space station doesn't tickle my scifi bone. Maybe I'd love it, maybe not, I don't know. There are just other shows I'm more interested in watching at this stage before I get to DS9, that's all. :)

I wager 15 quatloos that he is untrainable.

I'd just like to follow up on this and say I am currently randomly watching through TOS, and I withdraw my opinion. I still think the entire presentation is cheesy and dated as hell, but I am finding it easy to look beyond that and see the stories behind that. Amok Time, Space Seed and Mirror, Mirror were my first episodes, and they far exceeded my expectations, and were just downright great episodes by any standard. :techman:

OK, just kidding :p

Great to hear you're giving TOS a fair chance, and rightly enjoying it!

Wrong thinking is punishable. Right thinking will be as quickly rewarded :rommie:

THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!!!!

Nah, just kidding. If you tell me there are five, I see five lights now. :cool:

I'll bet you credits to navy beans that he'll love it!

i've seen 100% of everything except VOY. made it (with extreme difficulty) about to mid-season 4 and gave up. sometimes i think about watching the VOY shows i've missed - just to say i have seen 100% of ST, but that's a pretty stupid reason to watch something as awful as VOY. i'll pass.

The second half of Voyager is better than the first half!

And I have now seen 100% of the episodes and movies!

I've seen all the episodes and films repeatedly, I've read about 3/4 of the novels and comics

Wait a minute..

3/4 of the novels?!?!?!?!

According to my attempts to count this page there are approximately 600 books, leaving out manga and young adult. I would be terrified to count the comics.

Do you own them all? Can we see pictures?

I own about 400 novels. I haven't read them all yet, and there are others I don't own but read from the library. I guess if there are actually 600, the total amount I've read is around 2/3 (which is still quite impressive!). Most of mine are packed away in boxes at the moment, so no pictures I'm afraid.

Most of the comics came on the fantastic Star Trek Complete Comic Collection DVD, as well as a few free (legit) downloads. No space issues there! I've got loads of old Gold Key Trek annuals, and a few recent IDW TPB's too.

I own all the physical comics, excepting the Gold Key individual issues, just the TPB reprints as well as all the novels, spanning one entire bookshelf of just TOS and TNG. I believe I have read 90-95% of the comics and about 200 Trek books. I have been a hardcore fan since I was a wee lad and my Dad first exposed me to his syndicated recordings of TOS from WPHL-17 in Philadelphia and WPIX-11 in NY and have since followed the Trek saga.

TOS = 10-15 eps
TAS = >5% (youtube clips)
TNG = 100%
DS9 = 60%
VOY = 80%
ENT = 25%
Movies = 75%

I've seen all live-action episodes at least twice.

Actually, the ones I've "only" watched two times are eight episodes from Voyager's final season. All the rest I've seen at least three times. There are also episodes I've seen dozens of times.

Never watched a single TAS episode, though. I have nothing against animation, but the thought of half-hour Trek seems wrong to me.

^ I've almost watched it several times. If there ever is a Blu-ray edition, I'll go for it. How is the storytelling quality in comparison to season 3 of TOS (a season I mostly loathed)?

There's some great episode (Counter Clock, yesteryear) and some not so good ones. It's prob about Season 2 quality, i;d say.

TOS - 100%. I've seen every episode who knows how many times. My first several years as a fan, I was only interested in TOS, so I watched it a lot.
TAS- 100%, I watched them when the dvd set came out.
TNG- 100%, working on my 3rd time through right now.
DS9 - 100%. Have seen each episode twice.
VOY and ENT- 25%. I just didn't care much for these and decided not to finish. I was dragging through because of my love of Trek and realised I wasn't having much fun watching them.

I've seen all the movies multiple times, and have never read a Trek novel.

100%.

Sometimes I wish it was less so that I would still have new episodes to watch.

I also fantasize about alternate universe episodes; like how different the episodes and series' would be in Fringe's 'over there'. If I was ever able to go 'over there' that's one of the first things I'd do. Yup, I'm in an alternate universe, watching TV.
