Under my maiden name, there was only one of me. I think that's pretty damn accurate as my first name is not all that common and my last name was seriously pretty damn obscure. My new last name is incredibly common, hence me agreeing to change my last name. I was tired of being so easy to find.

So under my married name, there are 109 people with the same name as me. I think it's got to be much higher since I live in a town of 3,000 people and know of one other person with the exact same name.

See, that's what I find odd about this. 305 people is not very many throughout the entire nation, but then you have one person with the exact same name within your vicinity. It's kind of creepy. Is your family from that area at all?

My guess with mine is that it's due to my husband's family being from this area. That means there are a lot of people related to him around here - same last name and everything. That certainly increases the chances of someone having my last name around here and then I guess it's not TOO unlikely that someone would have the same first name.

When I first started going to my college, there were two other people with the same name too. Fortunately, none of us had the same middle name! There have been numerous times I've gotten emails addressed to the other people though.
