How many novels in the Vanguard series?

I couldn't find any other links that have been previously posted.

Is the Vanguard series ongoing, or is there a set amount of stories? (I prefer stand-alone novels to series novels anyhow).

it's currently four, with a fifth due later this year.

the novels are stand-alone, but of course there is an ongoing arc plot, but anything you need to know is recapped in the book.

While there's no official street dates for books usually, look for it around mid November.

Also one of the S.C.E. eBooks, Distant Early Warning by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore, serves as a prequel to the series, and James Swallow's "Black Flag" in Shards and Shadows gives us the Vanguard of the Mirror Universe.

Agreed. Along with Titan, and the DS9R it's my favorite series.
