How many "last" times have you seen Trek XI?

Having read through this forum, it's safe to say that many of the posters here have seen the movie multiple times.

I myself knew I would see the movie at least twice, once on opening day with local friends, and once again once I came home for a visit with my friends there.

I figured I might see it one more time, but that would be it. I made it to six times total. My 3rd time on, every time going in thinking I would not go again until the movie hits DVD.

So basically I've had 4 "Last" times. How about the rest of you guys?

I had planned on only seeing the movie once. With no prior experience with anything Trek I figured this would be a one time thing. Turns out, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

I went 4 separate times, each time seeing it with someone who hasnt seen it before. The 5th time I saw it in IMAX and I told myself that'd be it. I still ended up seeing it 4 more times though. But I figure I need to balance it out with an even 10, so I'm going once more. I plan on seeing the final showing (whenever that may be) at my theater.

So I'm gonna be up 5 last times I guess. This wouldnt have been possible if I didnt work at a movie theater. I only paid for this movie once, and that was cause I went elsewhere for the IMAX.

doggeh, which IMAX did you go to? I've only been to the one on Randall Road in Batavia. I think there's one in Woodridge; I wonder how that one is.

I suppose if I look at it this way, I saw it 3 last times with the third being the actual "last"

I saw it twice because I wanted and 3 more times after that with various friends that kept bugging me to go with them because they didn't know anything about Trek.
Not that I didn't enjoy myself all 5 times but I would have stopped at 2 otherwise.

Out of 11 viewings (7 were with other people who wanted to see it), the last 3 or 4 were supposedly the last time I was going to see it. And I just saw that it's out today for the first time at a couple of places I didn't realize were second-run cheap theaters, so it looks like I may be able to get a couple more "last" viewings in, especially since my dad has expressed an interest in seeing it.

I saw it once. I expect I'll get the DVD and so will a lot of people, so I'm assuming you mean 'seen' as 'seen at a cinema'.

I had only one "last" time, which was on a Friday at the Warner Theatre. I had fully intended all along, if I liked the film, to catch a screening of Trek when it reached the Warner.

It's gone from the Warner now *sniff* so I'll have to wait for DVD to see it again.

Probably 3-4 since it started playing at my IMAX. The last two were definitely because it got extended.

Very good crowds each time.

I saw it once. I'll buy it when it's on DVD but I almost never go see a movie multiple times in the theatre except Mortal Kombat. I saw it 3 times because I went with different people who hadn't seen it.

I went to the one on Woodridge but I wouldn't recommend that one. There seemed to be dust in the project or something that was being projected onto the screen. Quite distracting at times. Not the first time its happened either, I had the same thing when I went and saw Transformers in IMAX 2 years back.

I think two. Once when I thought I'd stop at 5, and then when I knew I was going to stop at 10.

My 3rd time was technically "the last time." It was unexpected and sorta spur of the moment. The first two viewings had been planned.

4th viewing was probably the 1st last time. That is, unless it stays at the cheap theater for another week and I get another shot to sneak out and catch it.

Well, the second time I saw it was just before it was getting pulled from IMAX screens to make way for Night at the Museum 2; I figured I should go see it in IMAX while I had the chance. I didn't know for sure if I'd go see it again, but I had a feeling I would.

Then they brought it back to IMAX, and once again, on it's last night on that screen (right before Transformers: ROTF opened), I decided to see it again, for what I figured was probably the last time.

Then I saw it again last week at my local second-run discount theatre, and this was probably for the last time, as it just left that cinema today. So I guess I've had 2 "last times" seeing it in theatres.

I know that seeing it 4 times is nothing compared to the devotion of some other people (like Jeri, Borgminister, and Kitty Duran), but that's actually the most number of times I've ever seen a single movie at the cinema -- my previous record was three, and I can count on one hand the number of films I've gone to see that many times.

So I think I'm done. Of course, if some friend or relative tells me they haven't seen it yet and are interested in doing so... ;)

I've seen it 7 times. I figured the 6th was the last but after the 7th, I may go one more time if it's still out there this week.

I've been at 20 for several weeks, and it's looking like a good candidate for my only last time at this point.

I logically deduced that it would come to our local $2 Cinema, therefore I concluded that I would see it again. Last night was the first showing at aforementioned $2 Cinema. I saw it today. I shall see it again.
Moral of this story: Never Say Never... Again.
