How many beings has the Dr killed?

saturn5

Fleet Captain
Fleet Captain
We all think of him as the great pacifist genius but that's not true. He often trick people into destroying themselves through their own failing (Rememberance of the Daleks/Silver Nemisis) and as Davros observes he get's others to kill for him (EVERY member of UNIT and especially Ace, think of him handing her the bag of gold coins to kill Cybermen in Silver Nemisis). But how many has he personally killed over the years?

To my recollection;

Third Doctor kills an Orgon in Day of the Daleks
Fifth Doctor kills a Cyberman by melding him into the wall in Earthshock
Fifth Doctor blows up two Daleks at the end of Ressurection of the Daleks
Sixth Doctor kills at least 4 Cybermen in Attack of the Cybermen
Sixth Doctor blows up the Dalek left guarding him and Peri at the end of Revalation of the Daleks
Seventh Doctor blows up the first Dalek they encounter in Rememberance of the Daleks plus the one they later encounter on the Dalek shuttle

Any more?

Presumably millions/billions as the eighth/ninth when he used the moment.

Yeah, I mean the Seventh Dr wiped out virtually the entire Dalek race on Skaro in RotD but I'm talking personally, not tricking people or locking them in a time trap etc

Also add the Vervoids, the Dr killed about 40 of them in Terror of the Vervoids, the best of the Bonnie Langford era (which isn't saying much frankly)

Everything we've heard points to him personally carrying it out. He says he killed them in The Doctor's Wife, he says he watched them burn in Dalek.

I believe the lock was just done after their death to prevent tampering.

He finished off the last of The Racnoss in "The Runaway Bride" but in fairness he did warn them. Never defy a madman with a box is good advice at any time.

he killed the Sycorax leader with a satsuma in "The Christmas Invasion"

The Sycorax had it coming, The Doctor won and the fight was over but apparently he didn't take defeat well. "That's the kind of man I am, no second chances. Also, that was just one guy, Harriet Jones and Torchwood killed the rest of the Sycorax.

I think he was pretty much partly responsible for the whole destruction and reboot of the universe. So i figure he killed everyone at least once. All his own people for sure, loads of Daleks. He blew up Pompeii and everyone in it.

Doesn't Six kill a guard or two in self-defence in Vengeance On Varos? I think that it was a tank of acid.
Five tries to kill the Master at the end of Planet Of Fire, very soon after baulking at assassinating Davros in the previous story.
One may have been prepared to kill that caveman with a small rock in the first serial, but I don't think so.
Death does tend to follow him, or vice versa. Was there even an OldWho story in which nobody died?
.

The Doctor wasn't responsible for the destruction of the universe. It was The Silence (???) who tried to destroy the TARDIS then the alliance that locked The Doctor away in The Pandorica because they blamed him for the impending destruction of said universe. If anything, The Doctor saved the universe when he re-booted.

Well, if the doctor wasn't around getting into people's kool aid and meddling and such as, there wouldn't be a TARDIS to blow up. Sides's I said he was partly responsible - not directly.

BUt true - i don't know the silence's motives so unfair to blame the big boom on Doc.

Are you sure you're not a Time Lord?

A few simple rules to follow mean if you should encounter the Doctor you'll live

1.) If you have any evil plans stop now no really stop now

2.) if you shoul insist on proceeding with your evil plans and the doctor gives you a second chnace take it no seriously take it

3.) Stear clear of Sol III (aka Earth)

4.) Don't ever threaten his companions

5.) If all else fails run and don't ever stop

if you ignore these simple rules, never mind you won't be around to contemplate why you didnamt follow them

6.) Never insult his fez because fezes are cool and his is bigger on the inside.

7.) When the slightly psychic reads "eep!" you should run.

8.) If he starts with a knock knock joke, just get the hell out of there.

9. If your species has a slang phrase "Blue boxed" and it means "Fubar from the start", reflect on why that is.

I believe he's killed from early on... didn't he and Ian remove a dalek from its casing, in the daleks' first appearance? That would have killed the dalek, surely.

Would that kill a Dalek? Or just render one helpless? Then again, I remember Tom Baker with tentacles wrapped around his throat, so only partially-helpless.
