How many alien starfleet captians exist in tREK?

There have been a lot more than 4, though I do think it's too human-dominant. Just off the top of my head:

Vanguard series: A Deltan. A Tellarite with the rank, if not the position. A Denobulan admiral, if we're counting higher-than-captains.

If we're counting admirals (or former serving admirals if you interpret it that way), two Caitians and an Andorian in The Voyage Home.

Serpents Among the Ruins: A Tellarite. An Alonis admiral.

Stargazer series: A Rigelian, two Andorians and a scattering of Vulcans.

The Buried Age: A Kreetassan. As well as Caitian, Bolian and Tellarite officers ranked as Captain or above.

Rixx, as mentioned.

DS9: Emissary: A Vulcan.

Tales of the Dominion War: An Andorian (with a Deltan first officer)

Doors Into Chaos: A Trill.

Demons of Air and Darkness: A Damiani starbase commander (mentioned).

SCE series: A Grazerite station commander.

Spirit Walk Book One: A Vulcan.

Articles of the Federation: A Vulcan (T'Vrea of the USS Io)

Greater Than the Sum: A Saurian (Bazel), an Andorian (with a Benzite first oficer).

Losing the Peace: A Tiburonian. And if admirals are included, a Saurian, an Andorian (albeit one who appeared earlier on this list as a captain), and a Pentamian.

Destiny: Dax. A Rigelian admiral.

Seize the Fire: A Gnalish (mentioned).

Don't forget about Mac Calhoun and Kira Nerys, probably the two most prominent alien captains.

Hmm, have we ever seen a non-humanoid Starfleet Captain?

I want to see a Horta get a shot at the big chair.

Read the TNG novel, "Dyson Sphere". A horta captain and a whole starship-shaped solid vessel, which the horta crew tunnel through as they require.

Meanwhile, Diane Duane's Lieutenant Naraht has also had a stint in the captain's chair of Excelsior:

You know... that's pretty freakin' cool.

One more alien captain...

Captain Ro Lauren.

Related question:

We see a lot of Human-themed names for Federation starships. How come we don't see as many alien-themed names? Like, we know there's a U.S.S. Luna and a U.S.S. Titan and a U.S.S. Io -- what about a U.S.S. T'Khut, or a U.S.S. Jarrado, or a U.S.S. Varnex? We see plenty of ships named after great Human leaders, but what about ships named after great non-Human Federate leaders? Etc. It just makes the Federation seem unequal.
