Not their best.

The "How It Should Have Ended" parody of the 2009 movie was amusing - for the first few watches, anyway. This one? I bailed after less than a minute - I just couldn't be bothered to stick with it long enough to find out "how it should have ended".

Yeh, only good bits were the tone Uhura had saying "just go with it Captain" and the reworded version of Sabotage.

Not their best work and unlike other films using the transporter is too obvious a "HISHE" for me in comparison.

Agreed, not their best. Plus the nitpicking that Uhura knew Edison was Krall "just by walking by the monitor and seeing him" was wrong. She heard him say, "frontier" which was a word Krall said in her presence in almost the exact same way. She'd be a pretty piss poor linguist if she couldn't have picked up on the aural similarities.

I liked Beyond until Enterprise approaching Altamid. Beyond takes it back to Gene Roddenberry's vision in the best possible way, with tons of Easter Eggs. But I feel like they could have done a lot more with Krall.
I agree with moviepilot opinion: "Idris Elba Is Almost Trek's Best Villain Yet In 'Star Trek: Beyond', But Something's Missing"
The point of this character is to hammer Federation's intentions, but this significance is lost somewhat in the middle of the film.
Beyond could be a two-episode arc.

Yup. That's right when I turned it off. Suffice it to say, I didn't get very far.

I don't mind good-humored nitpicking, but that's false representation.

Dude, seriously? This is not the first time HISHE has engaged in "false representation." I take it you're not into the "Honest Trailers" or "Everything Wrong With" recaps either?
Some of the "Honest Trailers" have been pretty funny, when they remember not to go overboard with it.

The "Everything Wrong With" ones stopped being as funny after their first few outings. When it was three minutes of deft (and mostly well-deserved) zingers, they were OK, even amusing, but the vids kept getting longer and longer, and the touch heavier - as if they'd lost sight of the original idea and were now interested only in trying to top themselves on the snark scale. Pretty soon they were nitpicking the most trivial details with a bulldozer, and it was boring.

I still watch the Cinemasins but I'm in complete agreement of their quality. Once they started going over 5 minutes they stopped being funny and started being tedious. Skyfall's was the first video I saw by them and it remains the best. It's 4 minutes long.

At least they don't do the 35 minute videos anymore.

I do miss the ones where they bring in doctors to go over injuries and how many times the main characters would have died. The property damage counting videos too. Both concepts were great.

I usually love HISHE, but this one was just lazy. The second part was funnier, with them just beaming Krall. However, the fact that they got how Uhura recognized him wrong was pathetic. She recognized him when she heard him say "Frontier".

Their "Frozen" one with the original song was great as well, and I think is one of their best. That and ST 09, Dark Knight and Superman one make up my personal favorites.
Reminds me of when I saw Man of Steele. During the big fight at the end all that went through my mind was "that's going to cost a shitload to rebuild."
Same thing with the Avengers.

Probably not good because there wasn't a whole lot to nitpick with the film in the first place. Everything Wrong With isn't funny, but Honest Trailers is the best.

I want that two minutes and forty nine seconds of my life back, please.
