What are all these numbered photos with jokes on them? I find most of them way too crass, ended up blocking someone on tumblr who posts hundreds of 'em. Where do the numbers come from?

Kate Mulgrew's attraction comes from a number of factors: maturity, gravitas, confidence and intelligence. I'd rather her than Seven of Nine any day. TNG's the same, Troi is supposed to be the "sexy one", but it's Crusher who is the most attractive (your mileage may vary). I also liked Varsh or whatever her name was in TNG.
