Just re-affirming my love for "Counterpoint." I'm fond of J/Ka, even though Kashyk's voice is totally silly. I also have a deep and abiding love for Prax. I don't know why.

I think it's worth another watch. Plus, I think someone did a re-write of the episode recently with a woman character in place of Kashyk? I haven't read it yet, though.

I don't think she's OOC in that one. I'm fond of the episodes that touch on the "darker" facets of her character, I guess. "Night," "YoH," "Equinox," and she pulled a mini-"Counterpoint" at the end of "Resistance," too. Personal preference, I suppose.

I love those dark facets of Janeway, specially in "Equinox", it's only that I do not enjoy "Counterpoint", but then it's perhaps I do not like the actor that plays Kashyk and he spoils the whole episode for me. Don't they say Each to his own taste?
