I saw it on Twitter and that's all that's been said so far. I haven't checked the Con's site yet.
I would like to announce that through my own stupidity, my computer was ensickened with a virus. After eight hours of emergency surgery by myself, Mr. Possum, and Our Friend the IT Guy, it was determined that the hard drive is officially a Big Ball of Fire Visible From Space.
The losses include: Half my Kate Mulgrew photo collection, my birdwatching photos for the past two months, a Picard vid in progress, and nearly thirty hours of work on my wide screen tribute to Barbara Wright wallpaper.
The good news is: I didn't lose any photos of my kid, I can re-do the work on the vid and the wallpaper, and I can restore much of my KM collection simply by going back through this thread.
And the real silver lining was that when I got out a spare hard drive to get me through while the one I was using is reghosted, I discovered that the wallpaper on the spare is this gem by B'Elanna. (Link only so as not to break the thread.)

Thank you, sweetie. I mostly just wanted to complain to someone who would understand the pain of the loss of fangirl material. 'Cause most people really don't understand that. 
I'm sorry Possum, at least you're looking on the bright side of things. 
Possom we actually took mr. teacake's hardrive to one of those recovery services this year and they were able to restore the whole thing. mr. teacake is very pute savvy so it must have been pretty screwed. They had all kinds of incredible machines in a sterile environment where they did the recovering and they said they would charge based on how long it too, up to 1000.00. Since he has work stuff on it he was willing to do that but in the end it was 250.00 which was wonderful. So don't throw out your hard drive in case you ever want to go that way.
