And Q Junior!

I like B'Elanna, it's Tom who gets on my nerves(even though I had a huge crush on Robert Duncan McNeill back then along with Robert Beltran)
I only like Seven, Janeway and The Doctor (oh, and the Borg Queen. Hnng, Alice krige...) If I watched Voyager and liked it it was for those characters but, the others? well... they are there but not grabbing my attention.
Edit: It's Friday and we are not posting any sexy Janeway's pic?? Come on, someone post something nice![]()
Neelix before Seven?? I won't say anything ;P
Haha, I saw that my art has already been posted here and the other stuff I have is J/7 and I do not think people would enjoy it![]()

The only time I ever believed in J/7

Wow, identical lists of favorites. Those three folks were pretty much the main, if not sole reason to watch Voyager. Between the stories and the caliber of their acting, everyone else just paled. It's a shame as I loved Voyager's premise and was hoping for a more old school Star Trek. Something like TOS, a ship that is outside the comfortable reaches of the Federation. And Janeway did feel very Kirk-like as Trek captains go.
LOUD subtext there
Same happened to me with Chakotay. Not a favorite of mine but I hate to see people, specially my J/7 fellows bashing him all the time. There are charactes that I do not like but I do not bash them, I simply try to ignore them and respect those that like them.
Oh, at the beginning I wasn't J/7. (Yes, I'm going to write a long boring post about how I became a Voyager fan. Skip it)
I remember lots of years ago when I was a trekkie and Voyager was aired. A friend of mine was drooling all the time over Chakotay and I think it made me dislike the character. Then Seven appeared but I didn't like her, well, to be honest, I didn't watch episodes beyond The Gift.
A few months ago, my guy started to watch the whole Voyager serie (I didn't) but when he was watching Scorpion, I watched it with him because I like the borg. I saw Seven but she didn't catch my attention... until I saw her in the last seconds of THe Gift.. and I fell in love. Then I watched the serie for her and, through her, I started to appreaciate and enjoy Janeway and when we got to Dark Frontier, I remember my guy and I looking at each other at the end of the episode and he asked me:
Exactly, what kind of relationship have these two?
I have never been fan of a F/F pairing before and I doubt that I'll be in the future (never grabbed my attention), but the subtext was there and I started to enjoy the idea of Seven and Janeway together (even my guy did)... until now, that I'm a hardcore J/7 shipper.
Oh, and even being a big TNG fan, even a good serie like that one had very, VERY bad episodes, so I do not like to call Voyager a disaster or the worst ST serie ever. Voyager had some incredible episodes too.
I really liked Chakotay at the outset; I never came to dislike him. The show just left him in the background as it moved on. For me, Voyager's failure was in not embracing its premise and moving away from a TNG type of ship/crew. DS9's strength was in being willing to do that and make a show different in tone from the parent one. That show was why I thought, with their premise, that they'd embrace a more old school TOS tone for this crew in melding the Maquis/Starfleet crew.Spalko

Exactly. These three characters were the ones that had a more developed personality, better episodes and the actors did a wonderful job, so wonderful that helped to forget how lame some Voyager episodes were.

I wasn't refering to make fun, I mean bashing and being cruel. I have seen fans being like that with Seven and Chakotay.
Oh, I was 22 by the time Scorpions was aired. Good times, hehe.
Lol, I think that End Game didn't make us either of us happy
Oh, never saw the mother/daughter thing. If Jeri would have been younger, perhaps I could have seen it.I only see mentor/student sometimes, but most of the time I see something deeper. Blame it to the scripts, to the subtext, to the way the played them...
Haha, naughty, HoneyBLilly![]()
And for me Seven was physically in her 20's, she was emotionally a little girl so that's why it was there for me.
It's a sexy pairing. Nana Visitor and Kate![]()
