"detective agency" - brilliant analogy (a few posts back, but you know...).
Can someone explain the
'monogram'? Didn't quite get...
My Janeway...
Having taken some R/L time off and been seeing someone (on social basis) who has Janeway qualities, curious: Janeway/KM (I consider intertwined) both f/m but allows/needs to have m characteristics to predominate. Am I wrong? Do others see this?
Spalko: you've visually captured my current situation
The Monogram (I assume) refers to the mirror images of James Kirk
(JK) and Kathryn Janeway
(KJ)
I actually don't see Janeway as
"male" in anything she does
.
I do see her as
"strong", which perhaps you are associating with "male".
Strong can be viewed in many ways... the fact that she was strong enough to "cry" in season 1, and the world didn't end/the ship didn't mutiny, is one such way.
She was strong enough to look at an IMPOSSIBLE situation, home
75000 light years away, and instead on settling on
"... the first Mclass planet she came across"... she turned to Lt Paris and uttered those
5 simple words.
Words that at once both
define the woman and
defy the universe that brought her to this place.
"Set a course... for
home."
