I know, I know. It's always easy for the artist to spot flaws no one else ever would.

Luckily, mine is intended to be:
a) at least 800x600
b) funny, not artisitic, and
c) included as footage in a vid where it will not be scrutinized too closely.

But daggone, it's painstaking. Thank goodness I don't require multicolored glowing lights in mine!

Sorry, hon, I can't ever preview my vids because I rely so much on the "OMG no she didn't" effect to . . . um . . . make them what they are. I will say, though, that it's a Picard-centered vid this time. And that it's going to take me a thousand years to finish.

YES. At least with fanfic, people have to spend some time reading it. And vids take a few minutes to get through. But with the gifs and fiddles and drawings, yeah. People forget something that takes one second to look at might have taken a week to make.

MY LIFE. You know, it's not as applicable to vids and fiddles and the like, I suppose, but when it comes to drawings, I've noticed asking for honest critique kinda helps on a place like deviantArt.

I mean, you'll get a few morons, of course, but there are some people and groups who will work hard to give an honest evaluation of your work. I have a few friends who are absolute dolls and will always go the extra mile to really analyze the drawing and talk about what works and what doesn't.

There's also www.conceptart.org, where the industry professionals (as well as mere mortals who are plain old fantastic) hang out. Your stuff is that good, IMO. Seriously. But I don't know if they really do fanart there. However, there's some great feedback at that place.

Also: my turn for a silly question! You work in black and white prior to coloring, right? How do you color over it and still maintain that level of contrast in the final?

froot with the embedding you embed it and then you do not do anything else, don't write another word or edit anything or it doesn't work. It often takes a couple edits to embed stuff, those vids just don't want to stick.

No spaces, sweetie. And DON'T test it in preview and then post it. It ALWAYS disappears when I do that.

And never edit it after posting it, it always disappears when I do THAT.
