Now if she had black hair well then that's another issue. Black hair does not look good with fair Irish skin. Been there, worn that, destroyed image freshmen year of college.

And it's not that we look bad with it, but it makes our skin paler than normal(like transparent, that's how light) and it sinks our eyes into our faces. We look like ghouls basically.

Um. Some of "us" might. Others do not.

Ok, not all. I should have amended that.

But the ones who do look good with black hair, I bow down to you. I learned my lesson, I'll stick to my auburn from now on.

Well, to be fair to Chak, although he isn't much of a unicorn rider, he did do a great job in that ep when he was reconfiguring the EMH parameters to cause the Doctor to appear dressed as a leprechaun. Not all Starfleet officers have the same skillset, nor should they.
