I think he writes like a male. That said Janeway Adoration has been traditionally the province of wimmin so it's an easy mistake to make. I know I was briefly shocked at seeing a man on the True Path. It's very heartening however.

J/Tu is difficult because it's a little hard to explain away that whole wife and family thing.
Just "delete the wife". Once they establish contact with the Alpha quadrant have her die from some bad plomeek soup or something. Then you have all grieving.. and comforting..

I can never really tell the difference between male and female typing.
So I think it's more that we Janewayites generally have ovaries (although there have certainly been exceptions around here! And for that, I am happy.)- Status
