You know who typifies my antipathies in this area? Juliet from Lost, played by Elizabeth Mitchell (who is on V now, not that I've seen it).
I absolutely could not stand this characters voice. "Wanting to slap her" was my primary reaction. Stop talking like that! Be REAL!! gah.

Well having been a devotee of the original V I intend to watch the reboot. After I finish Mercy. And the Black Donnellys. And Dr. Who. And my rewatching of the VOY eps I have seen least.
Ooh. I think I found Black Donnelly's on YT.

ENT is wonderful. I adore ENT. Something for everyone! First two seasons very sedate, third season completely different and one long story arc, fourth season lots of mini arcs.

I was actually thinking of starting a first time watch thread on ENT's thread. Even though I've seen the first season I barely remember it. But I have no clue how much life is over there.
And let me check and look for it on YT to make sure it's there.

I guess we all have people who annoy us. Julie Benz who played Rita on Dexter really annoys me.
I second mair. You aren't missing much not seeing the new V. I saw season1 and it really is not that good, IMHO. Its somethign you might catch if you were given the DVDs for free and nothing else was on TV.
As far as Klingon Janeway, I thought it was interesting

YES. When that thing stuck its tongue out. OMG. That was a television moment I shall never forget!
I watched it when it was first on tv and it had a huge impact on me. Then MANY years later I bought the video on ebay. I wondered if it would be cheesy and dumb. It had just as much impact! It was just as chilling and wonderful!
