You know you're bored when you start playing with the "Robert Beltran Gripe Generator" I did it a few times and it was kind of funny and not true, well then this popped up and it kind of was true:

    Robert Beltran Gripe Generator

Robert Beltran on the Voyager writers.
I think Brannon Braga and Jeri Taylor and the others are dumbing it down. I mean they are driving the show into the ground. Look at what happened on Janeway's relationship with Chakotay. They just totally blew it.

    It made me giggle.

    HAHAHAHHAHA

They totally BLEW it by deleting Chakotay's personality, if he ever had one. Can you imagine the sexual tension if he had been a full developed character?!

If he had been anything but a cardboard stand sitting in the XO chair on the bridge none of us would be alive because the sexual tension would be that hot!

And then we'd all hate Endgame more if they still ran with the whole C/7 thing

In Endgame you just assume that Chak gave up on any chance with Janeway and went for 7. And you assume (or I did) that 7 chooses Chak as a safe option to explore relationships and sexuality. He is a safe option, because he is a plank. And that's lovely for 7, one step up from a hologram. Very useful. And in Treklit that lasts exactly 5 minutes which is how it should be.

Is there any more wasted character than Chakotay? THE FIRST OFFICER?! And with the personality of Mayweather by the end :(

    So much potential. Lost.

I still want to slap him for it. Seven was like Janeway's daughter. And she's emotionally like 10. It's just creepy. :rommie:

I think Harry was worse than Chuckles.

Best thing about Homecoming, the C/7 thing was over.
Worst thing about Full Circle J/C apparently began, and then she died.

Didn't Kate used to say that there should be an episode of he and Robert just gazing at one another called "The Gaze"? I would have payed to see that episode.

Harry wasn't the first officer!! In TV land the first officer is suppose to have a personality.

For some reason I love Harry. It's the cuteness and that I know, absolutely know that his personality would come out in all it's glory with ME.

    :D

I agree. The Chakotay\7 stuff creeped me out more than Worf\Troi, Riker\Minuet, or Uhura\Scotty stuff.

    I liked Harry, too.

I wasn't too fond of Chakotay, but I know it was because he wasn't really a person. Just a figment of our imaginations, thanks to the writers.

I didn't like Chipotle/7. But, (now I'm going to get some hate for this, I think) I don't like Janeway/Chipotle, either. -hides-

You can thank shatnertage for the Chipotle nickname. It just kinda stuck with me.

True. I liked Chakotay when I was young and naive and hadn't seen TNG where the XO actually had a personality. After that I vehemently hated him.

I forgot shatnertage nickname for him. I like Chuckles though.

    Worf/Deanna . . . . :barf:

EDIT: THERE WAS A THING BETWEEN SCOTTY AND UHURA!?!?!?!?!

Yeah, Worf/Troi was verrrryy questionable for me. Then they just kind of ignored it and went on to the movies. Even in the audio commentary for Insurrection, Marina and Frakes talked about how silly it was.
