I could not agree anymore! One of the qualities that first attracted me to Janeway was her voice, her leadership and ability to command a ship so naturally and especially when thrust into the role of a largely male dominated position.
I thought she was a tough lady at first and this was all she would ever be like, but as I began to watch the series I realised that she was actually a wonderful woman who as the Captain 'had to act' like the strong and resilient rock of the ship because she had a responsibility to her crew to get them home and this became a burden that she carried for 7 years. I began craving for moments when she figuratively let her hair down (and also quite literally) and became Kathryn, not just 'The Captain'. This is one of the reasons I love J/C because with Chakotay she can take off 'The Captains mask' for a brief moment and be just as human as the rest of the crew.
That was when I truly discovered that Janeway was sexy, because she is beautiful inside and out
