How is Janeway sexy?

I AM DRESSING FOR KATE.

I, on the other hand, always "dress" for her just as I did for Nimoy & Shatner.

:bolian: Y'all are classy!

That's not even sarcasm.

No... we're "grownups". :rommie:

Tell us... how would YOU dress, given half a chance to meet the Auburn Queen? Glad to see Markira and we are "of one mind" on this subject. :bolian:

Markira I raised my kids on Voyager. They have seen all of Trek, much of it multiple times but Voyager is always dearly beloved. My daughter is particularly excited about the Tim Russ concert! They have read Mosaic as well :)

teacake you will look wonderful and all will go well, just don't stress out about it. :D

Your kids sound great, especially since they like Trek. My son can't stand Star Trek, ok he's one and could honestly care less if it's not on his thumb.

I'd dress up to meet Kate. I actually already have my outfit picked out, I would just have to lose roughly thirty-five pounds to fit into it. :p

Oh, and in other news, DD has left for college.

I love keeping Trek in the family - it's something I share with my husband, but like HBL's son, my son is too young to appreciate it (he'll be 3 in November) and my 15 month old daughter just sucks her thumb and stares blankly at the screen, thinking baby thoughts.

Were I to meet she of the Auburn Fantasticness, I think I'd wear a dress and high-heeled boots. Depending on the season, of course.

And now, I'm off to finish packing. We're leaving for our first family vacation in the morning! I may get online in between beach and pool frolicking , but if not, see you all next week.

teacake, have a GREAT TIME! :)

Have fun, Markira! Baby thoughts! Awwwww :lol:

YOU TOO TEACAKE! If you make contact, remember that you can no longer wash that hand.

Good parents, raising the kids on the good stuff :)

I'll pass along the message to him and tell him to pop by here once in a while, rather than just talking to me on Tumblr and/or Facebook.

He won't until tomorrow though as he went to bed about two hours ago.

Babies, babies, babies. I love babies. They're so cute and adorable.

ETA: I am in agreement with teacake over froot's avatar, it is very hot

It's good to hear about others bringing their kids up in the Trek tradition.

My son could say "Janeway" before he could say "Grandma". :techman: This is OK from my point of view, as I was also raised a Trekkie, but I didn't confess it to my mother-in-law.

Teacake, I am sure that you are going to be almost as fabulous as KM herself. Which is the equivalent of being five times as fabulous as the average Jane.

Honey: tumblr gardens, ROTF

Well it's true. I honestly never click off of Tumblr. I'm on every minute of every day, except for when I'm sleeping and I turn off my computer. Which, teacake and froot sorry for spamming your dashboards. ;)

Yeah I guess I want to look nice, sound nice, be nice. Which is not something I normally think about.

Just relax, you'll do fine. :D

Have fun on your trip Markira

kATE IS IN MELBOURNE RIGHT NOW! (thank God the sun is out). Someone on the convention FB page said she was on the same plane as her!!!!!

Sadara!!! You look fabulous with Kate!!!!! How very very lovely. OMG OMG OMG. OMG. And that's about the level of dress up I'm going for, I usually attend cons in a Trek shirt just cuz I can. Bought a dress yesterday, might wear that to the concert tonight. My daughter is coming over early so we can plan our outfits.

Thank you muchly! Have fun! Kate is lots of fun in her photo op line. So much fun the photographer had to keep reminding her to stand still; she kept moving out of range of the camera.

Unfortunately I don't have any Trek shirts right now, but I might have worn one if I had one.

teacake have fun, I can't wait to hear how it was.
