How is Janeway sexy?

Hello all! I am a big giant lurker in this thread who has simply had to delurk thanks to the awesomeness of Janeway/Kate/you lot.

It would be no kind of introduction at all if I didn't bring some pics along, would it?

I have many MANY more, but that will do to start with.

Oh! And with all the booze mentioned earlier, here's another you might want to try: in an interview, Kate said the drink her character had in her hand in the opening scene in Mercy was a vodka smoothie.

O Crumbled Muffin! I had not seen all the shiny things in your album. So kind of you to offer a peek! I got some good giggles from the Voyager stuff. Especially the Janeway laser eyes and the Buddy Cop show. Also noticed a photo of someone with a Lindsay Ballard haircut, if I'm not mistaken.

Clearly it was a photo of the elusive Zombie!Ballard! (Oh, wait, Ballard was kind of a zombie in the show, wasn't she?)

And thanks, lol! I just realized that album dates back several years when I went through it just now. I had no idea it's been around that long. I can't remember what half that junk is near the back.

Janeway wasn't sexy in the beginning. I definitely didn't find any appeal. But over time, as Kate Mulgrew became more comfortable in her role and writers gave her more interesting moments, this changed. When dressed and made-up right, Janeway could definitely do sexy rather well. But I have to say that next to Jeri Ryan, she was 2nd rate. And I'm talking about Jeri as herself, not as 7of9, in those few episodes where she was "out of catsuit."

Teacake, do you remember where you found those pool table pics? I'm thinking I might have a use for them.

I've seen them in a few places.. found them on google images and didn't try and trace them back to the origin. I assume they were publicity shots.

And oh yeah it was Tuvok and Sulu! That's a nice pic though the menz are really quite unnecessary.

I can't wait for Dragon*Con this year! I can't make Vegas as it is ridiculously expensive to get there from the UK in the summer. *sadface*. But I always make D*C if I can, and Kate being there is just the icing on the cake! I was spoiled with loads of Kate stuff going on last year, so I'm kinda in withdrawal at the moment! Another reason why ...

Vodka smoothie ftw, I just knew that pink thing had vodka in it!! I bet there's some cranberry too. I'm sticking with Gin Rickeys as my Kate drink of choice though, too many calories (and too tempting) in a vodka smoothie!! I've got a bottle of gin in my freezer for the first time ever.. libations for the True Path.

Wow . . . I need to stop watching Voyager for awhile. Maybe I'll watch DS9 and skip over to their forums. Except their forums are absolutely boring.

Actually I'm not even watching it atm, still rewatching season 3 of ENT. I keep meaning to rewatch Equinox so I can post in the thread. I also have a few VOY's I have not seen recently, as in the last 5 years, that I intend to watch again soon.

Maybe I'll watch DS9 and skip over to their forums. Except their forums are absolutely boring.

Yep. There's a very good reason for that, nothing to do with the series..
