I do not like when they turn Seven into "Annika". I love Seven being a borg, being unique, special... and humanizing her is like killing a part of her.

As for your next piece, I like the cadet idea. I like the idea of an obstacle course scene. Something with climbing, ropes, dirt, sweat... or there is her mention of pulling all nighters at the academy. Late night study, half empty cold coffee, loose black shirt rolled up at the bottom for summer heat... just thinking. Looking forward to your next piece. Thanks for sharing the great works with us, especially the newest one.

Love your biker picture. What a wonderful treat to wake up to. Look at that adorable smear of dirt/grease on her cheek!

I had to draw her with the grease in her face. For me she is the kind of person that gets dirty

It seems that people likes the Harley Davidson logo shirt Voyager version.

Oh, yes, I love to add those little details. Details are the ones that help to tell the story behind the characters.

Once I did a white uniform manip, but I do find the dress red uniform hotter. I just want to draw a canon Janeway. Something simple, elegant, a portrait, perhaps.

Add another to the "OMG. I want that t-shirt" club. Pure brilliance - as usual, it's the details that really make it shine. I mean, that chain and the reflected light from Seven's outfit. I know Seven was an uphill battle, but she's looks fantastico! They both do.

Thanks for another treat for the eyes! I'd love to see a dress uniform image someday.

And another. That totally rocks my socks, as does the Starfleet emblem on a chain. And the grease on Janeway's face. And the brightness of blue in both of their eyes, but especially Seven's. And...and...this is just downright beautiful. You outdid yourself this time, Spalko!

I need to think a background for the drawing. I always like to think a little story where the drawing would fit.

I was thinking in doing a pose, epic pose, like HoneyBlilly is using as avatar. Perhaps with the Starfleet flag in a banner behind her. I want it to look like a poster (because I would like to frame it) I'm open to ideas

Music is very important when I draw. It helps me to get in the right mood and settle the proper atmosphere.

Okay, so I relooked at Spalko's art, and decided to look BEYOND the T shirt, and this is what a saw.

The "number" on Seven's racing jacket IS the number "7" and she's wearing Borg green.

Janeway is wearing chaps!

Oh... And the bike is RED! Command Red!

JANEWAY: Let's see how things go over the next few weeks. I'll consider granting you access to the rest of the ship once that I can trust that you won't try to get us all assimilated again.
SEVEN: It will not happen again.
JANEWAY: Good. If you need anything, contact me.
(Janeway turns to leave with her security escort, when she hears a quiet but firm voice.)
SEVEN: Red.
(Janeway stops and turns back towards the former Borg)
JANEWAY: What?
(The borg turns and looks back at the Auburn haired women wearing a red shouldered uniform)
SEVEN: The child you spoke of, the girl. Her favourite color was red.




ETA: Just a scorecard update. Although this thread has nearly 3 times the posters as its nearest competitor... it has long been outstripped in the "view" department by the Great God Ben's semi hater thread.

But not for long.

We are less than 700 views from overtaking his divinity... and have room for nearly another 1400 posts before the mods shut us down.

^ Don't be too hard on fans. It's a really great drawing but the T-shirt logo is so it's not surprising everyone wants one. Anyway, don't art fans always go on about La Gioconda's smile?

Most of us don't have motorcycles, or wear borg eye jewelry, or have killer auburn hair... but we DO wear T shirts.

Its a way to carry your art with us into our daily lives.

Nothing personal, as much as I LIKE your Flemeth drawings... I really can't see myself in either the armored headress or the horned hairdo... not to mention that bodice!

But a T shirt?

Yeah... I could do that.

I might even add the necklace.
