How is Janeway sexy?

Four episodes starting in September!

I know nothing about W13 but I will watch it for her.

Now maybe one day a Big Bang Theory episode. :)

We've had Evil Wil Wheaton and LeVar Burton swearing to never use Twitter again. But then again, I don't even remember them ever mentioning Voyager so highly unlikely. Even though Bill Prady did right an episode or two of Voyager.

Oh my sweet what the oh jeez.

I am soooo going to watch this again tonight after I take my pain meds! YES.

:guffaw::guffaw: That's gonna be magical.

The best part is that it's a movie from a real religion in California. :guffaw:

Which one?

My favourite part..

"Our minds are sufficiently advanced to warrant these headcaps."

:guffaw:

And of course the appearance of Lwaxana Troi as every man's dream was priceless!!!!

"The Syfy series is peppering its upcoming third season (premiering July 11) with all sorts of sci-fi faves, TV Guide Magazine says, including an Aug. 1 episode featuring Star Trek: Voyager‘s Jeri Ryan and a four-episode arc with Voyager captain Kate Mulgrew (who will play a Warehouse protector)."

I never heard of this show but.. a "Warehouse protector", there's gotta be a uniform in that yes?

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS!!

Anyone watched any of it?

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who thought so. I was reminded strongly of this:

"What seems to be the problem?"
"Well, my brooch has been stolen. It's been in my family for 36 generations, it's absolutely priceless and I want it back!"
"You're certain you were wearing it today?"
"Yes, of course I'm certain. I never use this hair without it." - Odo and Lwaxana

ETA:
Never heard of the warehouse show until I got the newsflash from a friend.

heh.. Lwaxana is one of my favourite characters!

I love how she referred to Odo as the thin beige line between order and chaos,

I loved everything about her, she had far more character than her daughter!

Do you remember the warehouse at the end of the first Indianna Jones move? The one they put the ark of the covenant in?

Now... pretend that warehouse housed ALL the great and powerful artifacts from all time... and instead of being "lost in the shuffle" the govt over the centuries developed an elite cadre to collect the artifacts and protect them.

THAT is the show.

Alas... no uniforms. They dress like secret service agents.

WH 13 is a great series....sort of X-Files meets Bones meets Raiders of the Lost Ark and throw in all the "toys from the attic" ie artifacts - you'll recognise them all eg Pandoras Box, Eschers Vault etc etc.

The main Warehouse guardian is Mrs Fredricks played by CCH Pounder (wonderful powerful actress - she was in Bagdad Cafe years ago) and if I think KM's role is similar, she sound fit in well.

Jeri Ryan also joins the cast - and iirc, she becomes a regular.

AHAHAHAHAA

I didn't even see that comparison before! But now it cannot be unseen.

That lady is (was) actually their leader, I think. The religion is called "Unarius." Pretty sure they still exist.

Totally excited for KM's episodes on that Warehouse 13 show. Sounds pretty cool, actually. And thanks for the additional info, henbane!

froot - I have a strange love/hate relationship with Warehouse 13. There are things I don't like about it but I feel somehow compelled to watch it. eg Pete - the main male character drives me mad at times and at times uses that US street slang and language which drives me mad - it's immature and doesn't suit the character (or the show).

However, the stories surrounding the artifacts are usually very good and I think this is what keeps making me watch the next episode.

Yay more Mulgrew! :D

My sister graduated from high school earlier, and I still can't believe it!

Oh, and I picked up the new Voyager book, Children of the Storm. My only complaint is that it should really be called Star Trek: Delta Quadrant (in my opinion), because that's how it feels. It's more than just Voyager, and, also, without Janeway it doesn't feel enough like Voyager at the same time.

I was going to buy it on tomorrow, but my electricity bill is more than I thought it would be so no books, X-Men, etc etc etc.

DD, go back and watch my vid ;)

And congrats to your sister.

Mine graduates next year. :wtf:

How does the time fly by like that?

I loved that vid! Even though I don't usually like the song "Friday"...

And yeah, time does fly. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was graduating from high school. Sheesh.

I blame the thread. ;) Just like I blame my husband for The Hangover/Voyager video I did too *facepalm*

It feels like just yesterday I was changing her diapers while watching Voyager. :sigh:

Yeah, Voyager's that old
