Apparently it's just a J/7 picture fanfic.
Still looks really good.
It's one of the best things I've ever seen. Seriously needs more pics.
MU is fun because you get the same people but you can do anything you like with them! And VOY never had any MU eps
Anyone read Dark Passions by Susan Wright? It's great and trashy, all about MU women. Really fun read.
I've heard about it. Never read it though.
I'm blaming you teacake for this plot bunny bouncing around in my head. Now I have to go write down my story or when I wake up it will be gone. And it shall be brilliant, hopefully. And I think it'll be different enough from their idea, but that pic still inspired me.
And MU of course, that way I don't ruin Janeway's character.
Needed a follow-up and more Janeway.
Everyone bookmark that page and check it every single day so as soon as there is follow up we can fall upon the new pic and devour it.
Well there's this MU novel that's separate from "Dark Passions"
There isn't a lot about it though
I have that one but I haven't read it yet. I buy all the new Trek books but it takes me ages to read them. Maybe I'll abandon Typhon Pact and go read the MU ones, the series/characters that interest me.
Dark Passions is like really yummy junk food, I'd recommend it to everyone. Very slashy without ever actually getting slashy too. Very fast reading, couldn't put it down!
I'm hearing my birthday presents already. And hubby calling me "nerd" oh well, I know where his comic books are hidden.
Who doesn't like to read a trashy novel every once in a while?
It's a good trashy, though.
Too much Seven, though.
Ugh. That could be an issue. Maybe I'll like her more in the MU, and in the novels. I did like her in Full Circle.
She's a lot like her regular self, except instead of Borg she's an Obsidian Order agent (apologies if I ruined anything).
I'm saying this in retrospect, because at the time I was like "Mirror Universe TEH KEWL!111!!!1!!!!!11! OMG ITS DEEANA TROY!1111!!!!!!!!11111!!!111"
I'll have to wander over to the TNG forum and see if you're posting there in a "How is Deanna sexy?" thread Valeris.
I was never a Deanna fan, quite disliked her at some points, but I thought she was great in Voyager! I actually liked her in those episodes a lot which surprised me.
The only reason why I went "OMG ITS DEEANA TROY!1111!!!!!!!!!11111!!!111" is because she was one of the last people I'd expected to see in an MU novel.
(Oh, B'Elanna's in the Dark Passions books as well. Forgot about that).
I didn't have a problem with Deanna, though I much preferred Dr. Crusher. My favorite TNG character.
Lol. No I read the summaries so I know she's an agent.
And Deanna is so-so for me. She had some good moments in TNG. she was hilarious in First Contact. OK in Nemesis. And great in Voyager. But the rest of the time nearly unbearable.
"Captain, I'm sensing deep emotions coming from the vessel." Oi vay . . .
Oh, and for my MU fic should it be Tom Paris or Nick Locarno?
EDIT: Beverly Crusher, my second red head crush. Kate's first.
Whew. I hate ruining stories for people (unless I don't like them and/or they pissed me off. Then it's all good )
"Timeline? This is no time to be arguing about time! We don't have the time! ... What was I saying?"
Slash pair Paris/Locarno.
I was just never a TNG fan though I have seen them all and own all the series. I couldn't even come up with a favorite TNG character
Crusher did have beautiful hair which I often admired, the color was ravishing.
Oh and I must add, since this isn't the TNG forum and I won't feel like a jerk saying it here, that Riker is the only Trek character I have actually hated. I cannot stand him and repeated viewings have only made it worse (usually I warm to a character over time). Why women fall over that smarmy git I cannot fathom.
Oh well.. nvm that.. this is the VOY forum and the Janeway Swooning thread.
Here's something lovely..
Seven wonders.."Will she ask me to dance?"
:: Alien on viewscreen screams and gesticulates ::
"Captain I'm sensing a great deal of anger."
:: dies laughing ::
what a shocker!
