I've heard about it. Never read it though. 
I'm blaming you teacake for this plot bunny bouncing around in my head.
Now I have to go write down my story or when I wake up it will be gone. And it shall be brilliant, hopefully. And I think it'll be different enough from their idea, but that pic still inspired me.
And MU of course, that way I don't ruin Janeway's character.

I have that one but I haven't read it yet. I buy all the new Trek books but it takes me ages to read them. Maybe I'll abandon Typhon Pact and go read the MU ones, the series/characters that interest me.
Dark Passions is like really yummy junk food, I'd recommend it to everyone. Very slashy without ever actually getting slashy too. Very fast reading, couldn't put it down!

Ugh. That could be an issue. Maybe I'll like her more in the MU, and in the novels. I did like her in Full Circle.
She's a lot like her regular self, except instead of Borg she's an Obsidian Order agent (apologies if I ruined anything).

I was never a Deanna fan, quite disliked her at some points, but I thought she was great in Voyager! I actually liked her in those episodes a lot which surprised me.

The only reason why I went "OMG ITS DEEANA TROY!1111!!!!!!!!!11111!!!111" is because she was one of the last people I'd expected to see in an MU novel.
(Oh, B'Elanna's in the Dark Passions books as well. Forgot about that).
I didn't have a problem with Deanna, though I much preferred Dr. Crusher. My favorite TNG character.
Lol. No I read the summaries so I know she's an agent.
And Deanna is so-so for me. She had some good moments in TNG. she was hilarious in First Contact. OK in Nemesis. And great in Voyager. But the rest of the time nearly unbearable.

Oh, and for my MU fic should it be Tom Paris or Nick Locarno?

I was just never a TNG fan though I have seen them all and own all the series. I couldn't even come up with a favorite TNG character
Crusher did have beautiful hair which I often admired, the color was ravishing.
Oh and I must add, since this isn't the TNG forum and I won't feel like a jerk saying it here, that Riker is the only Trek character I have actually hated. I cannot stand him and repeated viewings have only made it worse (usually I warm to a character over time). Why women fall over that smarmy git I cannot fathom.
