ETA: Who's Dr. Helena Magnus?

Much as I love KM/KJ, always need new SF. Have discovered a new (for me) SF series called 'Sanctuary' which has a strong female lead. Reminds me a lot of Janeway. Dr Helena Magnus, played by Amanda Tapping who used to be in Stargate SG1, but looks and sounds very different in this. (British accent for a start).

Today we members of the Compound gather for the most holy day on our calendar.

Don't forget to perform today's ancient rituals in remembrance of She of The Red Shoulders, and have a happy May 20!

1) The Janewayite must first watch "Macrocosm," followed by "Bride of Chaotica." Some denominations require a viewing of "Dark Frontier" as well.

2) Following the episodes, the Janewayite must gather with his/her brethren and sip from the communal stainless steel cup of coffee and partially consume one unleavened Cardaway leaf. (Don't forget to place the remainder of the leaf back on the serving platter!)

3) The Janewayite must then stand and perform 3 Dismissive Handwaves, 5 Two-Fingered Points, 7 Dip Turns, and finish by placing his or her hands on his or her hips.

4) This isn't a ritual, but I would like to remind everyone that the traditional May 20th dinner consists of Felata onion crisps, vegetable biryani, and burned pot roast. PB&J sandwiches may be eaten in lieu of pot roast if the Janewayite prefers.

Coffee ice cream is the usual dessert, although I have heard of Janewayites doing unique dishes with leola root. They sound icky, though.

5) Have I left anything out? I can never remember them all.

I like the first one as well. I had to flip the horizontal for it to work, I was having a hard time finding an image facing the right way and a suitable angle. The eyes also didn't line up so I did it as eyes closed. Maniping decent eyes is a trick I am not yet up to. The sizes are still off though. I'll probably fiddle with it more over the weekend.
