I possibly was because my new email account was fairly new, and I was using one of Yahoo's variations. And that possibly could have alerted them to me being a possible troll.

Trolls are one problem. A lot of forums are also closed off because of spam bots. Open forums (this one aside) can get absolutely infested. It's a moderation headache.

Yeah, I can't remember anything. I think I just answered a couple simple questions to prove I was human and interested in the subject matter. I do not think anyone's ever been banned in the history of that forum, so it's a pretty chill place.

(Also, I'm pretty sure the members are 99.9% female. LOL. I don't think there are any active males posting.)
