No we have it on Dec 25, we just eat a lot of hot weather food, go to the beach, have bbq's. The official Australian Christmas food is beer.

Last Christmas we had.. cold bbq chicken, guacamole, taboolie, pico de gallo (we have all those because they are red and green haha), and cheese platters out the wazoo. And wine, wine, wine, wine and beer. Need to detox from all that cheese fat for weeks. Gorgonzola aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh... why do I have none of this now.

I hate turkey and ham so we have chicken every year. And green bean casseole, mashed potatoes and gravy, brussel sprouts and cheese, stuffing, rolls, cranberry sauce(none for me).

And lots and lots of pies. Apple, cherry, pumpkin, DOUBLE PUMPKIN, chocolate pudding, pecan, banana cream, and we usually have strawberry cheesecake too.

Yummy.

Wow that is a lot of pies. Do you like.. have a piece from each one? We pretty much gave up on desserts years ago, just have some pretzels and pfeffernusse, some halvah. No one ever eats any of it after eating all the salads and cheeses.

Pretzels for us are the appetizers, we dip them in spinach dip it isn't that bad.

We normally never have room for the pies!

We can fit in a piece or two(if you're lucky) but normally the pie is leftovers. An first come, first served to who takes it home. My mom's normally good about making two each since there's, *counts*, nineteen of us on Christmas normally.
