I really like their friendship. It seems like Janeway is the only person to kind of, sort of, break through Tuvok's barriers. I remember (quite vividly as it was recent) an episode called "Twisted" where Janeway becomes injured and loses consciousness. Very briefly, Tuvok grazes his fingertips on her shoulder, as if feeling concern. It was a touching moment.

Also, I was wondering, I know her hair in the early seasons was a wig (actually, I didn't know that until a few days ago). Was her hair in the later seasons a wig too or Kate's real hair?

LOL! Can't say that I blame her for hitting the bottle. Her ship is stuck in the Delta Quadrant... I would start drinking too! I finished season 2 today and should be getting season 3 next week. That should only take me a week to go through. I'm looking forward to season 4! New hairstyle for Janeway and J/7 subtext:)

Is it just me or does Janeway become 10 times hotter when her updo gets messy?
 
I'm watching the pilot to Mrs Columbo... I'm still seeing a 40 year old woman.

Although the producers were probably doing everything they could to make Kate seem age appropriate to Peter Falk and not 24 years old.

Although René Auberjonois (Mrs Columbo's French teacher.) looks like a child.
