Watched the first 2 episodes. I really like it so far. It's very funny, sarcastic, witty, quippy, and unpredictable which I like. Deadpan humor and crazy people are awesome!

Kate's character is shown quite a bit in the 2nd episode. She was really funny!

LOL. She has a bit of a Legally Blonde ditziness about her.

I still feel bad for her character though. Being in prison, most likely it looks like her fiance will drift further and further away and maybe break up? I have had an engagement broken and it feels like the worst thing in the world.

That said, I think I would take a few months in that prison over my current job any day. The only issue would be the stigma of being in prison. And the fact that it's on your record. lol

Yes even though I bash her breathy little girlness (shut up about the Barney's already, THIS IS PRISON!) I felt quite bad for her watching her checking herself in. It's horrible. It's an awful place to be. It's awful to have your life so dramatically interrupted like that, though she seems to be fighting hard not to go under. The fiance has cheated on her with Mad Men like five minutes after she gets there so he's obviously a squirrel.

Oh and if anything dramatic happens I think we should spoiler tag it in this thread since it's not like it comes out once a week.

Mulgrew expressed surprise when informed of the Janeway/Seven fan fiction fantasies? Then she takes a job in a women's prison series? When women's prison movies have had raunchy lesbian scenes at least since the 70s sexploitation days? Though I guess O/B is geared more for women these days, and those sexplo movies were aimed at men.

Ooo in what interview does she say she is surprised at J/7? Can you link it if you know it? I'm just curious.

And I think she probably meant she was surprised because Seven was meant to be like a daughter to Janeway and Janeway was like the mother figure. I'm pretty sure that's why she was taken aback and not because she isn't familiar with lesbianism in TV/Film.
