"Cut down on the fags and booze and you'll afford faster internet!" I believe it would this one would be a hit for the ISP's

If you're talking about the reduced rate TW offers for their turbo service, J., I got the same deal when I first signed up with them last year and when the price was set to go up to its normal rate I didn't have too hard a time getting them to keep me at the same rate. I think they're more interested in keeping their subscribers than in making sure they're paying the full price.
That would be the one. He was very nice about it, too. You know it's sad when the technician pities you for your previous ISP choice.

Thanks! I'm so relieved to have something reliable and fast again! You know, if they have Netflix instant streaming, you can go into the control panel on their Netflix account and change the stream quality level. Just reduce it from HD to standard. Not only would it save half your bandwidth immediately, I bet they'd never know the difference.

Its a small industrial town just east of london. Ten miles perhaps. Which is wierd because my vpn pings sittingbourne as well and my ip is based just outside Leads.
It must be one very busy place! I actually used to be very impressed with the speed when Virgin upgraded us from 2mb to 10mb!
