How does the TBBS see you?

Hey, all those who don't think they're noticed... I do. It's... what I do...

Hmmm, I don't know what people here make of me. Thread killer. Pompous at times. Occasionally shows a mild flair for knowledge, and even sometimes wisdom. And the occasional BAD meltdown in TNZ when life is being particularly shitty. Aside from that, like others here, I'm mostly invisible.

I've been here for almost 8 years. I've moderated several forums.

And I can honestly say.... I have no idea whatsoever.
A really tall USC fan? My perception of people is built entirely based on team allegiance.

For example:

Mallory = Oregon
Neroon = Ohio State
Commander Vaughn = Michigan
Digits = USC
flamingliberal = Baltimore Ravens
mrcoaster = Tennessee Vols (sorta, more women's bball than football) and NOT Notre Dame
JM1776 = Rutgers
Adm. Bonz = Florida
Alidar Jarok = Delaware, Penn State, Philly teams
Ruadhri = Phillies
JKTim = Cubs
Tim M, Scout101, etc. = Red Sox
Mr. Laser Beam = Mets & Yankees & any team who doesn't have a 'new' ballpark

The King of Threads.

Don't forget the ass. :p

King of Ass or Ass of Threads? :)

I am like TSQ, I have no idea.

^ That would be King of Ass or King of Cute Ass. He likes to moon mods around here... and what a lovely moon it is. :D

The Parramatta Supporting Niner who is a huge Radiohead fan, who lives in Australia. Also enjoys making certain threads in the AL.

You're right about the Yankees & Mets (those are my favorite teams). However the age - or lack thereof - of a team's home stadium/park/field is totally irrelevant to whether or not I'm a fan. I was a Yankees & Mets fan long before they got their new parks.

I admit I do love new baseball parks, though. Especially if the old one obviously sucked and needed to be replaced (Shea Stadium, for example). If it's a classic/historical park, though, like Wrigley or Fenway, I say leave them alone.

(Just to see whether or not I'm way the hell out of line, though, here's a thought, mimic: You're a Phillies fan. You're not seriously gonna tell me that you thought Veterans Stadium was okay, are you? Wouldn't you say that Citizens Bank Park was a vast improvement?)

Since I've been here for 8 years but never actually posted much, I would assume I'm mostly invisible and mysterious.

You're kind and knowledgeable but a bit ... hmm. It's like I can tell you're a nice person, but can't be pushed around. Don't know quite how to describe it.

You should talk to my wife....

:lol:

That is fair.

FIGHT ON!!

:techman:

Why did you choose the name of a redshirt who stepped on an exploding rock?
I was looking for something easy to remember and easy to spell. Plus I'm 6'3" and my feet frequently don't bother to listen to me. I've broken more bones in my feet and ankles than I can count.

At the time it seemed logical. :D

Well, I watched "The Apple," recently, and I thought of you.

Of course, I thought "Wait for it... wait for it... Yes!!!! Hahaha pwned!!!"

But at least I was thinking of you. :D
