^^^I agree that setting up the eyelid thing in the Teaser would have worked.
Didn't we see something about the inner eyelid in the Diana Muldaur episode (In Beauty There is No Truth?). I thought it was in both that episode and the one where Kirk's brother is killed?
Ah, OK, thanks, must've been blending the two episodes together (I thought there was a "recovering period" in this episode relating to his inner eyelid). Been too many years since I've seen most of TOS, I'll probably do a full rewatch when I finish up Enterprise, which I'm about 2/3 of the way through S1 now.Didn't we see something about the inner eyelid in the Diana Muldaur episode (In Beauty There is No Truth?). Actually, the correct title in "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" and the episode doesn't mention the Vulcan eyelid thing at. The implication is that Spock can look at Kollos via a visor because his mind is more logical and less likely to crack at the (filtered) sight of a Medusan.
I await your advance fee ask per WGA minimums for the commencement of work.^^^I agree that setting up the eyelid thing in the Teaser would have worked.
Hmmm...how would that have worked in a believable fashion? That is, what would be the nature of the "eyelid thing" in the teaser that would be natural and wouldn't have just ended up as a contrived set-up for the resolution of the story in the tag? The Twilight Zone did this latter thing in its later seasons and it drove me up the wall.
I await your script pages.![]()
