how do you view yourself?

Oh, tsq is awesome. She's sassy, sweet and classically beautiful like the stars of the silver screen. :D

I think I figured me out, at least a little bit.

I have flaws, but I actively work to correct what I can change, and live with what I cannot. I am friendly, and I am lovable. I am respectful and polite, and can become fiery and passionate about things that are important to me. I am not a genius, but I am intelligent. I am not a master strategist, but I do use wisdom to overcome daily obstacles. I am not an adonis, but I do maintain my body using good hygiene. I have many hobbies, but I also have many responsibilities. I'm no Wall Street wizard, but I can keep track of my own finances. I'm generally not what most women look for in a male partner, but I am what most women look for in a good friend. At least, that's how I see it all.

Nice guy with sense of humor. Really shy but with some ecentric quirks that doesn't quite mesh well with being shy. SOmetimes I can be lazy but for the most part I am simply uncertain what I want out of life beyond falling love with a women.

TSQ, you're awesome and your thread about taking the kids to the museum and complaining to NBC when you got ushered out was brilliant. how'd that work out after?

okay, me: a geek, slightly pudgy but not overly so, tall, not ugly, but not good looking, need to get out more, don't suffer fools, could do the super's job better than her, confident but bordering on cocky, opinionated, smart but not bookish.

I'm the type of person who is never satisfied with my appearance/weight EVER. When I look in the mirror, I see a fat lazy COW who needs to exercise more often to loose that spare tire. And although I've lost about 10 lbs in the past month, I still feel like a blimp. But, there are days when I go out to the grocery store or Wal-Mart and during those times I try to say to myself: ever girl wants to be me and every guy wants to be with me...and it actually WORKS! There was a guy the other day who asked for my Kroger's points card # to save on groceries. :D I couldn't resist the face and smile. He was HOT. :D I wasn't dressed the best but I guess I had a great attitude or something..think my luck is finally changing. :D But yes, I do have serious body issues and so that's why I'm trying to do something about it NOW before I hit 40! I wanna look 25 when I'm 40!! :D

I have the exact same problem. I'm curious to know what you look like (no, not in a creepy way) to see if we're both self image troubled people.

Edit: I suppose it's only fair if I disclose, too! I'm 5 11 and slender but I still think of myself as fat because I used to be quite overweight. Is it the same thing with you?
