How do you feel about 4am?

2 hours of cardio? Good lord, that sounds awful!

It might, but a month ago when I was waking at 9:30, I watched "In the Heat of the Night" and "Nash Bridges" while doing it (makes the time pass by more quickly).

And let me tell you the startling fact I discovered, RoJoHen (aside from that ITHOTN is a good show):

Without regular exercise, each decade after age 30, your metabolism decreases 10%. Again -- that's 10% each DECADE.

BUT...

If you exercise regularly, it only decreases 1 to 3% FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

This is the difference between being a huge fat bastard at 40 (and one who will only get fatter), and being one of those thin old people who can eat shit and stay thin.

Doesn't seem so bad now, does it? :p

I won't lie -- that first month on the bike will be a bitch, but eventually you'll get used to it. Before all this I was walking/running 6 to 10 miles EVERY DAY. Stationary exercise bike burn about triple the amount of calories in the same time, so let me tell you -- I don't miss the walking or running at all.

Pissed off if I'm still awake. I try to go to bed around 9:30 to 10:30 every day, then wake up at 7:00 in the morning and start the two hours & 15 minutes of exercise.

2hrs and 15 mins of excercise huh? And not one minute more.

You must be pretty *gulp* in shape....I'd like to see what that looks like. :shifty:

Wake up at 7:00, five minutes later I am out of bed (or ten minutes ;-), go to the bathroom, take a multi vitamin, a Green Tea pill, and an Orange Dream Bar (ice cream) and take a pack of pop tarts with me, then do 15 minutes (that's the average time it takes to complete) of weight lifting, then I get on a stationary exercise bike and do two straight hours. I eat Orange Dream bars all day, have french bread (with butter, Adobo spice and parmesan cheese), and at the end of the week -- haven't gained a pound. Life is good. ;-)

Oh, I'm very handsome (not just saying that to impress the internet horde), and now I have muscles. Before weight lifting, I didn't really have muscles. As a TrekBBS member used to have in his sig (I forget the exact words): Now 10% more manly :D

Ummmm....now I really reallly really wanna see what that looks like. ;)

You're teasing me!! And I like it!!!

Yes, it really does.

I exercise regularly anyway. 2 straight hours just seems incredibly excessive.

Well, two hours a day means in 2.5 days = one pound of weight lost. Think about it: I eat about a dozen Orange Dream Bars a day; wouldn't you like to do that too without having to see your stomach increase? :p

Oh, Cakes488, I'm hot stuff.

With some muscly legs too. I may have to lay off the bike a year from now, or my legs will be 10% bigger than my body.

Well, bed time. Maybe tomorrow a health thread by me.

Um, no, absolutely not. I prefer to eat things like meat and fruit and vegatables.

Plus, if I did that much cardio a day, I would look like a fucking skeleton right now. Gross.

Noooooooooooooooo don't go to bed. I have muscly legs too...let's compare whose calves are bigger...shall we?

Well you post a pic if your profile if you're really all that. Unless there's one already there...I shall check. Give me some eye candy baby!

They're snacks throughout the day. I eat meat at night. Plus, check out the charts for fruits & veggies -- the calorie fat and sugar in some are far, far worse then a Butterfinger candy bar.
(and there are pills to make up for any good things they might have)

Okay, now I'm really off to bed.

Ah there's just some pussy that smells like flowers in your profile...which really ain't such a bad thing. LOL

Remind me never to look to you for advice when I'm a personal trainer.

I'm passed the frak out. Three years ago, I used to stay awake all night, but three straight semesters of classes that begin before 9 am, (some at 7) I have been trying to go to bed between 10-12 every night. I've seen 4 am only a handful of times.

If I'm up at 4 am that means I'm having a round of insomnia...not good, especially during the school year. :wtf:

I'm usually asleep around 4am but sometimes wake up @ that time and sit straight up in the bed thinking, is it light yet? Lately, I have found myself doing that more and more.

I love staying up all night. I always have. I'll usually just do whatever, like watch TV shows on DVD, play video games, surf the net, etc; but I really enjoy being places at night, like the gym, or somewhere else.

Sorry about that. I trust the Internet about as far as I can throw it, and it turns out I can't pick the Internet up... :vulcan:

Anyway, my sister is a model who's been in some film and TV, so that should give you an idea of my handsomeness in terms of man looks.
