How Do You Fall Asleep?

I turn on my little fan and then make up stories involving my favorite show at the moment. Within minutes I'm in dreamland.
Last Christmas my sister and I were sharing the guest bedroom at my mom's house. One night, as we were laying in the twin beds across the room from eachother, I asked her, "Do you tell yourself stories at night to keep you entertained until you fall asleep?" "Yes," she answered, "Do any of them involve the Doctor?" I asked. "Yes," she answered. And I went to sleep remembering why she and I are the closest of our siblings. :)

Nice. :) Definitely one of the A-list shows. Although I do realize you might be talking only about the Doctor.

When I do get to sleep, it's usually just gradually drifting off while watching TV or browsing the Internet on my PS3.

However, I often find it very difficult to get to sleep at all.

I used to have this great hypnosis tape I would play that would always put me to sleep before it ended, but then I would wake up in about an hour with the belief that I had swallowed a toothpick. Maybe that tape was made by an evil hypnotist.

I never "try" and go to sleep. I just sleep when I'm tired. Due to the nature of my shitty apartment, I spend a lot of time on my bed anyway. Sometimes I'm up till 4am, sometimes I'm out at 9pm.

Basically, I just put the TV on low and surf the internet or read till I fall asleep. It's not uncommon for me to wake up in the morning with my book or computer still on my lap.
