We have seen only few scenes involving Christmas in the Trekverse. Jean-Luc and his Nexus family for instance. I guess he and Beverly will celebrate with little René, but duty takes priority.

Joseph Sisko (as long as he was still alive) has likely a Christmas tree. How about Owen and Julia Paris? What happens aboard DS9? Does Quark's staff have to appear in Christmas costumes?

The same as we do, some do, some don't, some mark the day the Jebus was born, others don't. And it still would occur on different days.

Kirk famously flirted with Helen Noel at a Christmas party on the Enterprise, as mentioned in "Dagger of the MInd."

I guess Uhura would be in for several Christmas songs. Not sure how Spock would interact. I'm sure he knows enough about Christmas traditions from his mother.

Now I'm imagining Spock dressed up as Santa.

McCoy is more likely to play Santa Claus, providing everyone with a gift. I can hear him asking Kirk if he was a good boy, giving him a bottle of Saurian Brandy as gift.

A Ferengi Christmas Carol

Four spirits torment Quark with all of his failed business ventures and charitable deeds past, present, and future.

Quark as Scrooge
Rom as Bob Cratchit
Nog as Tiny Tim
Zek as Marley
Brunt as the Auditor of X-mas Past
Cousin Gaila as the Successful Cousin of X-mas Present
Odo as the Constable of Prison Sentence Yet to Come
Natima Lange as Belle
Jadzia and Bashir as Charity Representatives
Jake as stupid hew-mon street urchin

In the end, he wakes up a changed man. He vows to cut Cratchit's salary in half as soon as he gets to the office. Maybe 60%. He then leaps from his bed, throws his window open and gives a passing street urchin a counterfeit slip of latinum to go to the local pawnbroker and find out what he will offer for Tiny Tim's cane.

Except that Brunt is someone nobody would invite to a Christmas party. He would liquidate all the presents.:ack:

In Wolf in the Fold, this intoxicated yeoman falsely believed she was at the ship's Christmas party.

Yeoman: Ummm ... okay.

...One wonders how they find a day in the calendar that isn't somebody's important holiday.

On the other hand, every day is likely to be Christmas on some planet!

But aren't liquid presents the best of all? Just ask Scotty. Or McCoy. Or Kirk, on his "hair parted on the left side, face lit from below" days.

It was a story point that Helen Noel needed the aid of the Neural Neutralizer to try and convince Kirk that it did...

(What did happen was that they danced and then "talked about the stars". Might be Kirk mistook Noel for his Chief Astrophysicist, what with most of the scientists aboard his ship looking more or less the same, that is, stunning, and wanted to establish the exact mission parameters for the upcoming survey.)

Yes they celebrate it, but I doubt anyone believes in Jesus anymore.

Or then everybody does, as it turned out you could meet the guy on his native Epsilon II½ (on alternate Tuesdays, but the queues are something horrid) and get to hear really good stories and prophesies on the past and future 4,000 years or so.

I mean, not believing in gods would seem to be a sure sign of debilitating insanity in Trek. A bit akin to not believing in daffodils.
