This is SOOOOO not the place to discuss Christianity vs. atheism. Take it to Miscellaneous, please.

See this doesn't make any sense where the holiday is from Earth, and the Enterprise is in deep space where Earth time should not have any relevance.
The crew of the TOS Enterprise is depicted as being majority Human, our beliefs and traditions will travel with us into space.

If I understand, you're saying that Earth's calendar will cease to have any relevance? While time dilation might be a minor factor, I really can't see the crews of ships not keeping "Earth time," aboard ship and not having a means of keeping tract of Earth time. Starfleet would absolutely need a means of co-coordinating activities on widely spread ships and planetary locations. Starfleet headquarter is located on Earth and (I believe) all ships would keep San Fransisco time.
