How could they have made DISC fit in more with THE CAGE?

Yeah those are the best I could find as well. Also trying to link images here is a freaking pain
Use Imgur. It's your friend.

The women's uniform on the original Abram's movie made no sense. Short sleeves and no way to show rank. Anyway, I liked them all. The only trek uniform I disliked was the TMP pajamas.
Discovery at least this first season had to have a dark feel, and the blue uniform worked while bring callback to the NX01 and Kelvin uniforms. This show would not have worked the same with everyone in their technicolor best.

I still think the Desperate Hours explanation that only Connie crews got the multicolor outtits at this point makes some sense. If the fleet has to be rebuilt after this events, we'll probably see more of TOS-style uniforms, and if they went with the ST:Beyond uniforms, that would be great.
Nah, they'll go straight to TMP uniforms ;)

The biggest problem with Disco's uniforms is the colour. Since everything is Blue and Silver on the show, the uniforms just bleed into the background instead of making the characters punch out. Honestly they actually DO look retrofuturistic, especially how the gold/silver rings around the shoulders which is classic 1960s scifi.
The problem with the uniforms are the colours.
The problem with the rest of the show is the absolutely generic aesthetic when you're working not only with a franchise, but within a time point of a franchise with possibly the single most iconic aesthetic in all of Television.
Why in hell would you set something during TOS, and not update the TOS aesthetic and have fun with it? It's bizarre.

Retrofuturist aesthetic still looks great when done today

These are quite nice. I dig them a lot. In fact, if they were grey they would look like one of my jackets I "Trekked" out in 2013.

Nice. I never finished them, but I have never been a fan of the One uniform look. I loved that in the Reboot films we have more than a single uniform used for all occasions

What ever image I want, I save to my own Imgur account so I know the link won't go missing.

That is what I did, thank ya.

Agreed, That's one thing about TOS I wish they could have had. I've been meaning to get around to designing winter and desert uniforms. I'll have to get back to that idea one of these days.

We saw some of this in the movies with the Monster maroons but still they pretty much ALWAYS wore class A's. TNG era was aweful for lack of uniforms. We did see some of this in ENT and DSC we have seen both the Class A's, a jump suit, an away uniform and some exercise gear. So far, it has done the best job but I am not totally happy with it :D

Technically, they had them. Just, no one wore them. I mean, they at least had exercise outfits :)

Also, the animated series introduced environment belts that allowed them to function in most situations. Though, Sulu might have preferred that in "The Enemy Within."

to make DSC fit more with the TOS and Cage, they need to call the Enterprise 'Starship-Class' instead of Constitution Class.

That's a bit I can live without.

The term "Starship class" doesn't make a ton of sense, anyway. The Enterprise is Constitution class, everyone knows that. (Picard even said so in "Relics".) Besides, "Starship class" would mean there'd have to be a vessel called USS Starship.

What I'm sure the plaque meant to say is Starship TYPE, not class.
