How can there not be a date yet?

Education appears in the strangest places somehow.

Men enters a bar to find out why SNW has no date yet.

Leaves the bar none the wiser, but with a sure and certain knowledge of the definition/history of various American cereal crops.

It’s not what the man wanted, but somehow satisfies nonetheless.

I happen to buy store brand fig cookies this morning.

Got hooked on them by grandma when I was a kid.

Newtons are a bit to expensive for my budget, but the store brand was on sale for less than $2 bucks today.
(same number of cookies in package)

Trekbbbs: come here for things you don't mind learning about.

Have a Cookie. ;)

Personally, I prefer oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips instead of raisins.

I used to be this way. Then I learned the right and proper truth.

Soak your raisins in rum for 24 hours before baking.

Best oatmeal raisin cookie you will ever eat. I can't go back.

That reminds me of a confectionary place near my college that made the most amazing cherry cordials. I really don't enjoy the packaged kind you usually see in the grocery store, but at this place they soaked their cherries in a bucket of brandy for quite some time before coating them in chocolate. No other weird industrial ingredients. Exquisite. :techman:

Preferably hominy corn (i.e., corn that's been nixtamalized in sodium hydroxide to soften the outer layers and make certain nutrients bioavailable to those with only one stomach). And the consistency is closer to that of wheat farina than it is to oatmeal. Quite good, served hot with a pat of butter.
And cheese. Lots of cheese.

No, I've been aware of the term for at least twenty years now. Also has the PG variation "screwing the pooch." Nu BSG even used "frak the daggit" in one of their scripts, though ultimately left out of the episode as none of the actors in the scenes could prevent uncontrollable laughter upon hearing the term which didn't work for what was meant to be a very dramatic scene.

"Merger Mayhem" has not prevented Paramount from setting premiere dates for other shows, renewing shows or continuing production on shows, as evidenced by the fact SNW S4 is currently filming. And they've made it known their plan to announce the premiere date for the NCIS Tony and Ziva spinoff during the broadcast of the OG NCIS season finale next week, so the merger clearly has nothing to do with why we don't know the premiere date for SNW.

The "orange idiot" you speak of has nothing to loodo with this matter at all making it completely unnecessary to bring him into this discussion. Unless you're citing the claim made by clickbait YouTubers that he has made it a personal mission to block SNW, which the rest of know is complete and utter horseshit.
Surely you're joking. There is the matter of the Human Popsicle suing Paramount. Are you uniformed? I'll let your lack of knowledge go. I'm kind. :)

As for the rest of it, yes there is demonstrable evidence this process with litigation and the FCC is slowing Paramount productions, there are articles online freely available about this show or that being delayed. It is indeed wreaking havoc, but some shows or movies are well in the pipeline and making it through.

Trek might be a special animal...too complex and interwoven to really know what to with it. So they are probably taking extra time. There is also the matter of next year's anniversary that they may be willing to delay for.

Except they've already released a trailer that says "Summer 2025." They've already publicly committed to a certain timeframe in which we can expect a premiere. If there were seriously as much doubt regarding the possibility of them even airing the season this year, they wouldn't have done that much.
And the fact they're premiering the first couple episodes at a film festival in a month or so. If Paramount wasn't committing to a 2025 release, they wouldn't be doing that.
