There's an Alien franchise wiki which gives vital statistics on the Nostromo and Sulaco, but the Prometheus entry has nothing. Has there been any information released by the special effects team, or any analysis of size by comparison to screen shots of human figures on the ground and close to recognizable portions of Prometheus? Thanks for any nudges in the right direction.

This is official concept art from The Art of Prometheus book. The Prometheus (originally known as the Magellan early on) is 560 feet long.

I wasn't a huge fan of the writing of the film, but the production design was fantastic.

^ Oh, I haven't that kind of talent. That gigantic chart of miscellaneous spacecraft that you put up will keep me busy for quite some time...now, THAT person has talent! I had recently viewed an Alien universe wiki that had stats for the Nostromo and Sulaco, and I noticed that there was no such information for the Prometheus spacecraft. Fortunately, thanks to the Science Fiction and Fantasy portion here, I had access to a wide variety of people and was certain that somebody here knew the answer. It is good to have such faith rewarded.
I would, however, like to see some company put out decent ships a la the Trek ships out bimonthly from Eaglemoss Publications. "4" to "6" long versions of not just ships from the Aliens franchise but also Battlestar Galactica (old and new), Space:1999, Babylon 5, and on and on, would be eagerly snapped up by fans.
(yes, I know the licensing issues would probably be insurmountable, but a guy can dream...)
