I have dozens of my maternal grandmother. My dad's mom died when he was a kid. I think he only has one or two pictures left of her. I don't have any.

I have a pair of Finnish antique oil burning lamps.

Have lots of those. Everyone should, even those with good eyes.
4) a laminator
I use laminating plastic and a hairdryer.
5) knitting needles or a crochet hook
Nope.

My parents saved every paper I ever wrote. I may have one or two stashed in a box, but don't know without looking.

I love antique stuff and have lots of things that could qualify. The desk I'm sitting at was my great-grandfather's. Not sure on the exact date, but I think it's it was built in the 30s. I have a few woodworking tools from the mid-late 19th century. And one of my guitars is from the 40s.

I'm still curious as to why anyone would need a household laminator.
Yes, I use mine to laminate the bookmarks I make.
I even buy laminating pouches which are made specifically for bookmarks.
I have also laminated personalised luggage tags for people.

What a good idea. I am getting a new dining suite soon (its on order) and I might celebrate its arrival by making and laminating a couple of placemat sets.
