Hot Toys Resident Evil Figures (Image heavy)

One of my great passions (as many of you know) is action figure collecting. One of the companies leading the pack when it comes to quality is Hot Toy, a Hong Kong based company. They're manufacturer's of 1:6 scale fully articulated figures from various well known licenses (Their Dark Knight stuff is simply amazing.) While these have been announced for a while, they've finally gone up for pre-order on Hot Toy's US distribution partner: Sideshow Collectibles. I thought I'd show off the simply spectacular work that has become the expectation from Hot Toys, and hey, if I can convert someone else here to the hobby, and exspose them to how great these things are, then so much the better. Now these are pretty steep (around $150.00 each) but you see where your money is going:

Really? I didn't know. I'm really into AF collecting too. Though since I'm not exactly rolling in dough, I can't currently buy everything I want. But I still have a decent collection. Though nothing anywhere near the price of Hot Toys' figures.

Indeed. The detail on their products is insane. I remember looking at pictures of their Dark Knight figures, and I was amazed that there was actually a company that made figures with such lifelike likenesses. These RE figures are just as good as the DK ones. Incredible. No wonder they're so expensive.

Oh I know. I'm just glad that Hot Toys only releases so many figures a year. I still have to pick and choose. There's no way I could get everything I want. They have the license for Hellboy, Terminator, Predator, Watchmen, Wolverine, and others. I've had to be very very choosy. Thankfully the Dark Knight line is almost over (with the upcoming Joker probably being the last release.) Still, I never feel like I've been ripped off by paying the premium prices. The quality is like none you'll ever see and they are the kinds of items that are great conversation starters.
