Hosue: 8x12 "Chase" - Discussion/Spoilers

In this particular situation though, it just felt to me like Park was belaboring the issue. Things like being agitated over an extended period after a kerfuffle, or survivor's guilt and the like aren't things I relate to very well. Is it because I've never been attacked or seen someone being with a knife and don't know what it's like? Maybe, but it's also because I'm not one to remain distraught over traumatic events.

Well, I am, so it made sense to me.

Taub was the one who was tackled. I didn't see who did the tackling, but I assume it's someone House paid to do it.

Remember when Taub was talking to the janitor while House was hiding with the super-soaker? House wondered to himself why he hadn't thought of using the janitor as an agent.

So he did!

Maybe I'm confusing two different scenes, but I thought the tackle happened at the tail end of the same scene with the janitor. But if you're right, House saying "Why didn't I think of using the janitor?" could've been just his usual mind games -- "Oh, that's right, I already did!"

True it did seem like Chase was becoming House 2.0. I thought they were setting up a spin off series.

I would watch that series.

I really liked this episode and almost felt like an earlier season episode. Chase dealing with his injury, his history in seminary and with the POTW was all good stuff and enjoyed the interaction between him and House. I'd grade this episode an Excellent.

Yeah, if you watch the follow up scene again. Chase walks past janitor while approaching Taub. Chase says something to the effect of "House finally caught you" as he turns corner passing Taub. Taub replies "what?" just before Janitor comes from the left to tackle him. It's pretty funny if you catch the whole interaction.

The House/Taub stuff made me realise after May what I am going to miss the most about this show, the jokes/antics of House . Good episode though I still disagree with Chase's theory that House was to blame.
