I was talking with some friends yesterday about dressing up as Trek characters for Halloween. Decided to research some costumes and OH MY GOD THE HORROR. Seriously, this is not for the faint of heart. Have any of you come across any weird or grotesquely mesmerising Trek costumes?
It isn't bad as long as you don't call it Spock, and if you do, they finally got the price right. That said, if you just want to be a Vulcan, or with a little work, a Romulan, it works. CCC.
How about during? You could walk around screaming in agony, and dress up the costume by adding flesh color goo dripping down, ending in a puddle around your feet.
I was thinking more toward one of the first 2 Romulans Picard met, not Marc Alaimo, the other one. CCC.
I was thinking the same thing. (I assume most fans know that the Michael Myers mask from the first movie series was a Captain Kirk mask painted white.)
I miss those Don Post Studios movie character masks. They had Kirk and Spock I think, as well as movie monsters. They were usually over $50, good construction, and some had fake hair woven into them. I think they usually advertised in Famous Monsters of Filmland.
Michael Myers wore the Don Post William Shatner mask in Halloween after all--maybe this is his next choice. Carpenter/Zombie---take note.
Maybe a reasonable recreation of someone's nightmare vision after seeing Spock for the very first time in that famous screening of WNMHGB in Cleveland?
