The station is a crappy Sketchup digital model I built, comped into this scene in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.

Looks awesome! But why After Effects? What did you use it for exactly?

I use AE for work and I like some of the compositing features in it, not found in PS. I also have a 3D model plugin called Element which allows me to manipulate 3D models, lights and camera more easily.

That does make sense, thank you. I forgot about the 3D capabilities of AE and was wondering why you just didn't do the compositing straight in PS. But you are right, AE does offer some features PS is missing.
