Hollywood Xpo - Jonathan Frakes

Watching the YouTube video of last week's Hollywood Xpo's NextGen segment. Jonathan Frakes refused the microphone, made some gesture that made it look like he was trying to project all by himself. Well, he failed, as far as the video on YouTube is concerned. Anyone there? Notes taken? Any better records of what he said, some of it sounded like it might be interesting, but it's hard to tell when you can't hear them.

I was there... at the beginning he jumped off stage and mocked the usual fan questions ... even sat next to me while doing so. He was either being [very[/i] good natured (I don't know, I've not seen him at a con since '95) or he was very drunk.

I'll take a look at the video tonight and see what I can remember.

At the Vegas convention, he bounded on stage and, in an attempt to fire up the crowd, shouted, "ZZ TOP IS COMING TO TOWN!" (the Hilton had a ton of ZZ Top posters up; they were appearing the next week)

Pretty funny.

I was there, but didn't see his talk. However, I can tell you that he was - as always - extremely nice to everyone who came up to him in the autograph room. My 5-year-old daughter wanted to talk to him and let him know we have a cat named Ryker (yes, that's the cat's spelling.) Frakes was very kind to her, and posed for a couple of very cute pictures.
I'll say he was good natured.
